With the rapid digitization of agriculture, this mission aims to bring farmers closer to modern technology, making them proficient in using digital tools for better decision-making, crop management, and access to government schemes.
The mission focuses on multiple areas of learning:
1. Digital Literacy Training: Farmers are trained to use smartphones, computers, and other digital devices to access information on modern agricultural practices, government programs, and subsidies. This includes training on using mobile apps for agriculture, social media platforms for farmer communities, and websites that offer updates on farming techniques.
2. Access to Government Schemes: Through this mission, farmers are educated about various e-governance portals such as the *Kisan Suvidha* app, *PM-Kisan* schemes, and other digital platforms that provide updates on subsidies, crop insurance, soil health cards, and more.
3. Weather and Market Updates: One of the key benefits of this mission is to teach farmers how to access real-time weather forecasts, which helps them plan their sowing and harvesting cycles. Additionally, they learn how to check daily market prices of crops in different mandis (markets), helping them get fair prices for their produce.
4. Financial Inclusion: Digital literacy training includes educating farmers about digital banking, mobile wallets, and secure online transactions, enabling them to benefit from government financial aid directly into their bank accounts. This also empowers them to avoid middlemen and make transactions directly, enhancing transparency and financial security.
5. Digital Marketing and E-Commerce: Farmers are encouraged to explore online platforms to sell their produce directly to consumers or businesses. This helps them increase their profit margins by eliminating intermediaries. Training on e-commerce platforms like *eNAM* (National Agriculture Market) and other online retail platforms is a vital part of this mission.
6. Learning through Digital Media: The mission also promotes the use of educational videos, tutorials, and webinars to update farmers on modern farming techniques like organic farming, integrated pest management, and precision agriculture. They are also introduced to various agri-tech innovations, such as drones, remote sensors, and farm automation technologies.
The overarching goal of the Kisaan Digital Saksharta Mission is to reduce the knowledge gap between rural and urban populations, ensuring that farmers not only enhance their agricultural productivity but also become self-reliant, tech-savvy, and economically empowered in the digital age.
This is mission of educating girls of schools and colleges about Sexual Offences, Laws Related to it, Precautionary Measures, Self Defense Techniques and how to report the crime.
